Welcome “Spooky Season”, Welcome

I’m May and I loved carving these pumpkins (during the “spooky season” especially), and when I got back from Peter’s Pumpkins farm – see the previous post now tagged in blog – anyway, I always ran out of time before “Halloween”, and doubted a very basic skill learned to cut and gut a smaller pumpkin, and have enjoyed lighting tea candles as we have reached the full moon, now we are halfway to winter supposedly.

So, in the pure enjoyment of this season, which is somewhere between a cozy soup and severe depression, I would like to share some carved pumpkins. 🙂 Enjoy.

That watermelon is an accidental prop in this photo, FYI- The pumpkins are truly the stars of the show.

put tea candles in shot glasses- seems like a good way to keep the candle from spilling/ burning out in the pumpkin.
so much easier to light candles with a long taper candle. Emphasized both directions of triangles to express balanced masculine and feminine energy. Again, watermelon is still a prop in this, and a bowl from dinner last night.
These pumpkins are awesome!

What it might be like from the candle’s perspective.

I love the symbol for Hecate. I really tried to carve a full moon.

Happy Full Moon!

Happy Hunter’s Moon!

Happy “Spooky Season”!
